My Add: When reality gets us down, imagination can sometimes "kick in". When this happens we never know what "adventure" we may have. It could bring us "down" with negative thoughts, but it better when we become inspired from it. My Add: With ideas usually comes change, and for some, the "fear" of it. Change can bring both good and bad "elements" to any situation. Being open & objective, is the only way to truly make any "informed" decisions . From there it may not always be easy, but at least we will know the facts and have the opportunity to change. Timing can be everything in Life, and especially when traveling via local transit systems. If not timed right, we could either be too earlier or too late. Personally, I'd rather be too early, but find myself quite often running behind - too late... thankfully not often. What have I have found that works "like a charm"? Setting my clock 15 minutes fast. When our day's first adventure shows us that our timing is off/ we weren't thinking as clearly as what was apparently needed, we may feel "dread creep in" and think that the whole day will be like this. But this is NOT always true! We can change it, simply by thinking of what else we are doing for the rest of the day. This can help us to prepare better for each task/ adventure along the way. And it may even help them get done quicker/ more effectively. Today may be "Hump Day" (requiring getting over the "hump" of the week), but it doesn't mean we have to "keep the snail's pace"/ suddenly become ignorant (lack of knowledge). With BIG organizational tasks, I find it best to take it one step at a time and have at least 1 helper for things that are too heavy to lift ourselves. If your helper is good at organizing, then ask for their help. Otherwise, it may cause stressses of your friend/ helper getting in the way or putting things in the wrong place(s). HAPPY HUMP DAY!!! Preparing for things is never "easy", and there's always lots to think about. It's important to write a list (or more than one if necessary); of what's needed to be brought, what errands may need to be ran prior to, and anything that may have been forgotten. On that note... I think I'm almost ready for Saturday... got lots done yesterday, but not everything. Let's hope it's all done in time... (^^^)

With BIG organizational tasks, I find it best to take it one step at a time and have at least 1 helper for things that are too heavy to lift ourselves. If your helper is good at organizing, then ask for their help. Otherwise, it may cause stressses of your friend/ helper getting in the way or putting things in the wrong place(s). HAPPY HUMP DAY!!! After an attempt to catch a SUNDAY bus and missing it, I walked a long distance yesterday. This could have been a deterrent, but I knew I would be happy once it was over... not just because it was over, but also because of where I was going. In honour of "one voice day" (too bad it's not time to vote)... Our voices are marvelous! We can do sooo many things with it. Whisper, talk, yell, whistle, hum, sing, call other animals (if we know how)... all forms of communication. It is important that we use it towards those that are in "power" to voice our needs & stand up for our rights!!! Let's not waste it! (*@^@*)
Of course those in "power" could be parents, older siblings, caregivers, teachers, etc... and yes, politicians (BLAH!). If we remain silent, we remain "voiceless".

My Add: I have encountered this experience not only with mending/ altering clothing, but also with quiting bad habits like smoking, and raising my children. A creative "bone" is in all of us, all we need do is use our imaginations!!! (^^^)
